Unlike today, these electrical appliances were welcomed as gifts! They were the latest, latest in electrical conveniences. Starting at $2.50 per gift and Christmas tree lights at $3.00 a set, these latest innovations made many a home more warm, comfortable and bright. Let’s consider how fortunate we all are for these innovations as we ask Santa for something high tech under the tree.
